Professionalism
We are hired for competence rather than connections. Everything is produced to a written standard and can be inspected against it.
ITESIWAJU is a political infrastructure company. We do not seek political office. We work on a professional contract basis, we are politically independent, and we exist to build long term political capacity rather than temporary election structures.
The company began with an observation anybody who has worked around a Nigerian election will recognise. A group of serious people gathers around a candidate with real intentions and real energy. They work for months at enormous personal cost. Some of them win. Then, within weeks, everything they built is gone. The office closed, the team scattered, the files lost.
The waste was obvious. What was less obvious, and more troubling, was the effect on governing. A campaign that leaves nothing behind hands nothing over to the government it produced.
ITESIWAJU exists to change that pattern for the organisations we work with. We build infrastructure: systems, documents, data, technology and trained people that stay in place across the whole political cycle and belong entirely to the client.
To build the permanent infrastructure that allows political organisations to campaign with discipline, communicate with clarity, govern with competence and stay honestly connected to the people they serve.
A political culture in which every serious political organisation has real infrastructure behind it, and the distance between what is promised and what is delivered can be measured by anybody who cares to look.
We build what remains.
These are not decoration. Several will cost the company money at some point: a contract refused on conflict grounds, a request declined on integrity grounds. That cost is the price of being an institution rather than a supplier, and it is budgeted for.
We are hired for competence rather than connections. Everything is produced to a written standard and can be inspected against it.
A client's strategy, data and internal debates never leave this company. Not to another client, not to the press, not after the engagement ends, and not if the client loses.
We serve whoever contracts us within the limits of conflict. Personal political preference never enters professional work.
We do not invent facts, fabricate figures, manufacture support or produce material designed to deceive.
Recommendations rest on research. Where the evidence is thin, we say so rather than rounding it up.
We strengthen party structures, electoral law and democratic institutions. We never work around them.
Deadlines met, standards kept, records complete, and everybody paid on time.
We build for the cycle after next. Anything that wins this month and costs the client next year is refused.
An honest first conversation about the objective and what already exists. No pitch deck.
A short paid assessment of the real situation, including whether we are the wrong firm for it.
Scope, deliverables, timelines, team and fees agreed in writing, with exclusions stated.
The work delivered on an agreed rhythm, with problems flagged early rather than late.
Scheduled reviews against agreed measures, reported without softening.
Final outputs handed over complete, including source files and data.
An agreed period of support while your own team takes over.
The engagement ends cleanly or continues into the next stage. Everything is already yours either way.
We decline politely and in writing, explain why, and offer a lawful alternative where one exists. A client who wants that kind of work will find another supplier. A client who wants a serious institution understands exactly why we said no, and trusts everything else we produce more because of it.
A client's strategy, research, internal debates, weaknesses and data never leave this company. Not to another client. Not to the press. Not in conversation at an event. Not after the engagement ends. Not if the client loses.
Every member of staff signs a confidentiality undertaking on their first day, and it survives their employment. Breach is a dismissal matter, without exception and regardless of seniority.
